Sherazade Khursigara

FRAUD

Sherri Khursigara:

-Former president of an Ontario, Canada home building company called Bond Homes Ltd.

(1) Electrical Fraud

-Sherri Khursigara lied to Burlington Hydro (the electrical utility in the area) and Ontario's Electrical Standards Authority (the electrical inspectors) into believing that the new 7 bedroom, 9 bathroom, indoor swimming pool mansion house she had constructed in 2021 in Burlington, Ontario was only being powered by solar power alone - which was false. Sherri created an illegal scheme which she concealed from Burlington Hydro and the Electrical Standards Authority.

-Sherri Khursigara continued to operate this scheme from 2021 until March 2024 when she was finally evicted from the property by court order for 24 months of non-payment of her first mortgage (and non-payment of her second mortgage).

-Only once Sherri Khursigara was evicted for non-payment did she ask Burlington Hydro to cut off the electrical power, so that her mortgage lender (who had by then taken possession of the house) would have no power during the Canadian winter.

-Sherri Khursigara similarly cancelled the property insurance (that the mortgage lender was paying for anyways) so that in case of fire or damage the lender could not recover - another vindictive act of no benefit to herself and only to inflict maximum losses on her creditors.

(2) Tenant Fraud

-As Sherri Khursigara was in the process of being evicted she intentionally moved in a tenant for no rent so that the court application would be delayed and her creditors would need to seek the tenant's removal at the Landlord & Tenant Board, buying her more time to live for free in the mansion.

(3) Non-payment of debts

-Sherri Khursigara has also walked away and failed to repay $1,500,000 Canadian dollars, plus arrears of interest, due from her to the second mortgage holder on the Burlington property.

-Sherri Khursigara has also failed to pay considerable arrears of interest due to her first mortgage holder and now has multiple judgements outstanding against her.

(4) Construction Deficiencies

-Sherri Khursigara lied to Tarion, the Ontario New Home Owner Insurer, and is being sued for hundreds of thousands of dollars for the multiple deficiencies in homes she constructed and sold to new buyers. Tarion is now suing her to recover funds paid out to such buyers.

-Any future partner, mortgage lender or counterparty should AVOID doing business with Sherri Khursigara
